Margate, NJ, Restaurant Will ‘Take Over’ Philadelphia Restaurant

A legendary Margate City restaurant will collaborate with a popular Philadelphia restaurant, with the special event dinner benefiting “A Meaningful Purpose at Reed's Farm,” not for profit organization.

Steve and Cookie’s by The Bay (of Margate City) will join with Vernick Fish in Philadelphia for a benefit dinner on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

Reservations are available beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 12:00 noon.

“The five-course prix-fixe menu will highlight classic Steve & Cookie's dishes and Vernick Fish favorites from both culinary teams. Speciality cocktails and an optional wine pairing will complement the dinner,” said Steve and Cookie’s restaurant,“ said Steve and Cookies restaurant.

It’s the perfect meal, consisting of:

lobster tail, shrimp, jumbo lump crab & day boat scallops and lemon basmati rice

My favorite appetizer at Steve and Cookies is:

Their Lobster Macaroni and Cheese … it’s is the best that you will find anywhere in the Atlantic City, New Jersey area.

The pasta is perfect. It is called "Dischi Volanti," which is Italian for flying saucers. This shape wonderfully holds on to the cheese and other "bits" and ingredients.

The price for the benefit dinner & music is $225.00 per-person, plus gratuity & tax.
