Mayor Will Address Water Emergency In Atlantic City, NJ

Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small will address the citizens of Atlantic City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2023.

To take all necessary precautions, Mayor Small will declare a water emergency.

I have been advised by an Atlantic City water source that a water test was conducted and it was determined that it was cloudy.

There is no need to panic and no determination has been made about any harmful contamination of the Atlantic City water supply.

Atlantic City water is award-winning and it represents some of the finest water in America.

Our Atlantic City water source said that residents will be advised to boil water at this time, as a precaution.

We have been advised that the entire water system will need to be flushed.
