Mays Landing Girl Serves in Nicaragua To Heal Women Trafficking
A true woman of faith and dignity, here's to Mays Landing's Cassandra Mears who has found a calling to serve on a mission trip to Nicaragua at the end of July, where she, among a crew of other helpers, will be building a church.
The team will also be working with women, and their children who have been freed from human trafficking. They plan to help heal these families and specifically the women by building self-esteem and teaching them new skills that they can use to provide for themselves.
But in order to do this, Cass need to raise $1,950, which will cover everything from the room, airfare, food, water, and transportation for the trip. The deadline to fundraise is May 1st, so any amount that can help Cassandra revive that part of the world would be greatly appreciated.
