Mays Landing Woman Seriously Injured in Black Horse Pike Crash
A woman from Mays Landing is recovering from serious but non-life threatening injuries after a crash on the Black Horse Pike Wednesday afternoon.
Hamilton Township Police say they responded to the Pike between Cologne and Leipzig Avenues around 3:45 Wednesday afternoon for the report of a crash.
A preliminary investigation revealed a 2016 Toyota Corolla being driven by 23-year-old Elizabeth Booher of Mays Landing was traveling eastbound on the Black Horse Pike. Cops say the car crossed over the shoulder and hit a utility pole. The force of the impact caused the car to rollover and come to rest on the passenger side of the vehicle.
Authorities say Booher sustained serious non-life threatening injuries and had to be extricated from vehicle. She was taken to ARMC-City for treatment.
Traffic was diverted around the area for several hours while the accident was investigated and the scene was cleared of debris.
