New Jersey & The Nation Are Divided: We Must Fix It Together

I first wrote about this topic four years ago today.

I wrote (then) about the fact that our country was divided and broken.

Little did I know then how much further we would fall.

Look at former President Bill Clinton (from several years ago)  playfully peeking out from behind the statues of former Presidents George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush.

This is the way that it should be. Presidents of opposite political parties demonstrating respect and collegiality for one another.

We are supposed to be The United States of America.

Today, we are The Divided States of America. It’s corrosive and it’s unsustainable.

Our Country is infinitely more divided now, then it was then.

America is broken.

Together, we must find a way to put it back together, again.
