A HARRY HURLEY OPINION- EDITORIAL

It’s time to have an intellectually honest national conversational about “Critical Race Theory” in America.

To date, this conversation is not taking place because people of good faith are afraid to be called a racist, when they know in their heart that they are not.

It is almost beyond comprehension that official  educational delivery systems are teaching white children to basically hate themselves and for African-American children to believe that they are oppressed.

Let’s get this perfectly straight. Black children are not oppressed and white children are not oppressors.

The late, great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had it exactly right more than 50 years ago.

We must not base any judgment by the color of a person’s skin; rather by the content of their character.

United States President Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats are presently dividing America in every way possible. By age, race, income, gender and more.

This must stop. It’s rippling in many dangerous ways.

Here’s just one example. An actual New York City psychiatrist openly talked out loud about having fantasies  of “unloading a revolver into the head of any white person,” that got in her way.

Can we all agree that this individual is unfit to practice medicine in any form?

I don’t hear too many people denouncing Dr. Aruna Khilanani for making such openly and blatantly racist comments.

She made a series of outrageous remarks at the Ivy League institution’s child study center on April 6, 2021 ... adding that she’d walk away from the shooting “with a bounce in my step“ and that white people “make my blood boil and are “out of their minds and have been for a long time.”

Khilanani’s audience were members of the Yale School of Medicine.

These are incredibly racist comments, made by an educated medical professional that must be condemned by everyone of good faith and common decency.

The New York Post was the first to bring this disturbing matter to the public’s attention.

Audio of the talk was posted on the online platform of former New York Times opinion writer and editor Bari Weiss this past Friday, June 4, 2021.

Weiss listed a flyer promoting the lecture, titled “The Psychopathic Problem of the White Mind.”

It advertised “learning objectives” such as “Understand how white people are psychologically dependent on black rage,“ the New York Post reported.

The series of reprehensible public comments should end the career of this Doctor because she has demonstrated that she is unfit to practice medicine.

During Dr. Khilanani ‘s lecture she reportedly said that “addressing racism assumes that white people can see in process what we are talking about, but they can’t.“

It is shocking that someone in her profession felt comfortable and safe saying such blatantly racist and divisive comments such as we’ve presented here.

It is people like Dr. Khilanani that are purposely making this the most divided America that we have endured since The Civil War.

Make no mistake about it, this divisive and dangerous rhetoric is going to get people hurt and killed.

Let’s wait and see what happens.

I predict that no progressive discipline or any action whatsoever will be taken against Dr. Khilanani.

She’ll probably be rewarded for her actions.
