Cops in Gloucester County say that an argument in a gym parking lot that ended with a gun allegedly being shown has led to the arrest of a man from Bridgeton.

Police Respond to Incident at LA Fitness

According to the Washington Township Police Department, at about 8:00 on Friday night, August 1st, their officers were called to LA Fitness on the Black Horse Pike for a report of a fight where a gun was brandished.

Officials say an off-duty New Jersey state trooper witnessed a confrontation from the gym and reported seeing a man and a woman arguing near some parked cars. The trooper then allegedly saw the man pull a handgun from his waistband and point it at the woman.

When officers arrived, both people had left; however, the woman contacted the police the next day to report the incident.

An investigation identified a suspect vehicle, which led to a suspect.
