HAMILTON — At least 13 people were injured Wednesday morning when a charter bus rear-ended a tractor trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Police told 6 ABC Action News the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. and that juveniles were on board the bus. Many people were seen standing along the side of the highway.

The news outlet's video shows the collision in the northbound outer lanes in front of the Woodrow Wilson service area between exit 6 for Route 206 and exit 7A for Route 195.

Additional video showed damage to the front door of the bus, but the news outlet said there were no reports of serious injury. It did say, however, at least one person was seen being taken away on a stretcher.

The Robbinsville Fire Department in a tweet said many ambulances reported to the scene.

The crash scene was cleared by 11 a.m., according to New Jersey Fast Traffic.

State Police have not yet returned a message.
