Used To Be A Secret: Latest News From Somers Point, NJ Pizza

I first wrote about this former “Secret Pizza” gem in 2020 or 2021 and my first article about Dominic Russo’s move to Somers Point was on October 22, 2023.

A UNIQUE CONCEPT WAS BORN

Dom created a supply and demand craze on social media. His creation, a very tasty pizza that is square and not round.

More people wanted one … than could get one.

“SQUARES & FARE PIZZERIA HAS COME OF AGE“

In the old days, Dom created a unique business model and concept. Each week, a limited number of reservations were made available and you had to win a weekly lottery in order to obtain the opportunity to have one of Dom's pizzas.

Price didn’t matter. You wanted one. When you won the “lottery,” you felt like you had scored something very hard to get.

When I ordered my first two “Squares & Fare” pizzas, I didn’t even ask the cost.

FOR NOW we still use the same system on our website to order - so if this is your preference we certainly encourage it - this saves a lot of time for us and ton of time and you as well - WE DO take same day orders, walkins & callins!

SUMMER, 2025 HOURS OF OPERATION

Open Tuesday thru Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Open Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

STARTING THIS WEEK

Tuesday and Wednesday’s they’re doing a Squares & Fare saucy sampler! 1/2 traditional tomato sauce and 1/2 vodka, Dom calls it i”a great option for first timers!”

Dom says, “We will be doing limited edition seasonal pies, chef features and other fun stuff to watch out for this summer! We're talking figs, my father's meatballs (kitchen takeover with the best cook I know) and whatever wonderful ingredients we find at the markets!
