North Wildwood Rescue Crew Saves Three, One Swimmer Drowns
A swimmer in North Wildwood drowned Tuesday afternoon.
Fire and rescue crews were dispatched to 18th Street in North Wildwood at 3PM Tuesday after a 911 call about a group of four swimmers in distress, according to 6ABC.
A crew from the North Wildwood Fire Department arrived on the scene and helped three of the swimmers get out of the ocean. The three swimmers were taken to Cape Regional Medical Center. A fourth swimmer was found face down in the water. Life-saving measures were performed, but authorities say the individual died at the hospital.
The victim is not being identified at this time.
