Ocean City Named America’s Best Dessert City

We all know about Johnson's Popcorn and Kohr Brothers, but apparently Ocean City has a lot more to offer in the way of desserts.

Food & Wine Magazine has named Ocean City "America's Favorite Dessert City."

While we could say it's because Ocean City has the best desserts, we'd by lying. The fact that Ocean City won is because it has the most desserts - the most places serving desserts.

According to editors, Ocean City placed first solely based on this metric, "the number of verified dessert businesses per capita."

Most of the cities the magazine's Top 10 are seaside-vacation areas where people want to have dessert all the time:

3) Norwich-New London, CT
4) Longview, TX
