Officials in Atlantic County say a 78-year-old Hamilton Township woman with pre-existing medical conditions has died from complications of COVID-19.

According to the county, she becomes the 246th fatality from the virus in the county since April 2nd.

Health officials also confirmed seven more cases of COVID-19 between four men and three woman.

With today's cases, 3,996 residents have tested positive for COVID-19 in Atlantic County; 2,697 have been cleared as recovered.

Atlantic County will continue to provide COVID-19 testing by appointment at the public works complex on Route 9 in Northfield each Tuesday this month -- except for next week when testing will take place on Wednesday, September 9th, from 9:00 to 11:30 AM.
