Police: 4 Guns, Cocaine, Oxycodone Seized; 3 Arrested in Atlantic City, NJ
Three people are facing charges after a narcotics investigation in Atlantic City.
The Atlantic City Police Department says on Wednesday, October 18th, their detectives along with the ACPD SWAT Team executed two residential search warrants, one in the 2400 block of Auburn Terrace and another on the first block of North Laclede Avenue.
Those two searches led cops to visit a third home on the 2400 block of Arctic Avenue.
During the search of the three residences, detective recovered four handguns, parts of a ghost gun, 10 grams of cocaine, 108 grams of marijuana, oxycodone, ammunition, cash, and paraphernalia used to package narcotics for distribution.
Police say one of the guns was stolen from Richmond, VA.
ARRESTED: 20-year-old William Cisneros of Atlantic City
CHARGES:
- Unlawful possession of a weapon
- Possession of hollow-point ammunition
- Possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense
- Possession of CDS with intent to distribute
- Money laundering
- Possession of CDS paraphernalia
ARRESTED: 19-year-old Juan Mendoza of Atlantic City
CHARGES:
- Three counts of unlawful possession of a weapon
- Possession of ghost gun parts
- Possession of a large-capacity magazine
- Possession of hollow-point ammunition
- Possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense
- Possession of CDS with intent to distribute
- Possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone
- Money laundering
- Receiving stolen property
- Possession of CDS paraphernalia
ARRESTED: 25-year-old Alex Rojas-Pelaez of Atlantic City
CHARGES:
- Two counts of possession of CDS
- Two counts of possession of CDS with intent to distribute
- Two counts of possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone
- Possession of CDS paraphernalia
All three men were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
