What a week it's been for lottery players. Lottery fever has never been higher to start the new year.

There were multiple Powerball winners in the Garden State including a jackpot busting ticket worth over $23 millions dollars which was sold at a convenience store in Clifton located in Passaic County according to NJ.com.

The winning Powerball tickets in New Jersey continue to pile up including a two million dollar ticket sold at another convenience store in Stanhope and another million dollar ticket which was sold at the same Quick Mart store in Clifton where the wining $23 million dollar ticket was also purchased.

South Jersey did have two Powerball winners with each ticket worth $50,000 dollars. The first ticket was bought at the Atlantic City Gasoline located on Absecon Boulevard in Atlantic City and ticket number two comes from the In & Out Convenience Store  on West Browning Road in Bellmawr located in Camden County.

According to the NJ Lottery website the winning Powerball numbers for the Saturday,  January 23rd jackpot were: 5,  8, 17, 27, 28. The Powerball was 14 and the Power Play was 3.

More South Jersey winners include  two Powerball tickets worth $50,000 sold at the ShopRite in Somers Point and the Wawa in Berlin and a big million dollar ticket which was sold at the 7-11 on Atlantic City.
