Scam Alert: Man Selling Fake Fire Department Raffle Tickets in Vineland, NJ
Heads-up if you have recently purchased raffle tickets from a guy in and around the Vineland area -- they're not real.
According to the Vineland Police Department, "It has come to our attention that the person pictured in this post has been going around our South Vineland community posing as a member or representative of the South Vineland Fire Company and selling raffle tickets."

Officials were quick to point out that they don't know who this man is and various groups in Vineland are not associated with him.
Additionally, they say, "any fundraising that is done by the South Vineland Fire Company is done [through] an official mailing or company sponsored event at our fire station" (and not by a guy wearing a Villanova t-shirt with no identification).
If you purchased a ticket from the pictured man, or otherwise gave money to him, or see him walking through neighborhoods, you are asked to contact the Vineland Police Department at (856) 696-1212 to file a report.
