
Small & Tibbitt Will Seek Re-election for Atlantic City Mayor/Council
Just hours after Tom Foley officially announced his candidacy for mayor of Atlantic City, (live on-air on “Hurley in the Morning”) incumbent Mayor Marty Small, Sr., officially announced his intention to run for re-election.
Mayor Small also introduced the slate of City Council candidates that he will run with. They are:
Current City Council President George Tibbitt
Atlantic City Hall employee Bruce Weekes, Jr.
Long-time City Board Member, Stephenine Marshall
The Mayor has assembled a strong and well balanced ticket.
We will be reaching out to Foley to learn if he has intentions to bracket with a slate of Council candidates.
Atlantic County Commissioner Ernest Coursey introduced Small.
Small spoke about his record in office. He introduced Tibbitt, who spoke about their spirit of cooperation between the executive and legislative branches.
Tibbitt also spoke about his Council running mates, Weeks and Marshall at their announcement event.
