The Palestra in Philadelphia is the oldest college basketball arena still in use today and is considered the 'Cathedral of College Basketball'.

Since 1927, it has been the home of the Penn Quakers basketball program and will host the Stockton Ospreys mens basketball team for a game this season.

"All of our guys have dreamt of being Division I players and now we have a chance to play a Division I team in a fabled arena," said Stockton head coach Scott Bittner. "It's a great opportunity for our team and we're really looking forward to it."

The exhibition game will take place at the historic venue at the Philadelphia school on November 24 and will not count against the Osprey's record. Stockton, which competes at the Division III level, last faced a Division I team in 2006 when they faced Monmouth University.

The Ospreys compete in the New Jersey Athletic Conference and finished last season 15-10 last season.
