Vineland Police are trying to determined who robbed the Dollar General Store on East Chestnut Avenue Saturday afternoon.

Police were called to the store at 2:20 for a report of a robbery.

According to police:

An employee of the store told police that she was approached by a subject who passed her a note indicating that he had a gun inside of a bag and requesting cash from the register. Following this incident, the accused male subject fled the area on foot. No handgun was observed by anyone inside of the store.

 

Members of the Vineland Police Department Patrol Division including K9 checked the immediate area and were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a white male wearing a white surgical mask, grey hooded sweatshirt with what appears to be a Philadelphia Eagles logo, blue jeans, black shoes, and black gloves.
