Bobby Brink scored the only goal of the shootout as the Flyers defeated the Boston Bruins, 3-2, on Monday night at TD Garden.

The Flyers continue the preseason on Monday night with their final game on the road during the exhibition schedule, taking on the Boston Bruins.

The Flyers dropped their third straight game this preseason, falling to a lesser Boston Bruins roster in the first home game of the preseason on Saturday night.

In what was supposed to be a final preseason audition of sorts, the Flyers were overwhelmed by the Bruins, out-shot 34-14 in a 4-1 loss.

On May 19, 1974, the Flyers became Stanley Cup champions for the first time. 50 years later, the team still walks together forever.

The Bruins continued rolling, improving their NHL-leading record to 34-5-4 with a 6-0 decision over the Flyers on Monday afternoon.

The Flyers got a regulation win on Saturday, scoring the only goal of the third period to claim a 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins at Wells Fargo Center.

Right out of the gate, the Bruins struck for a goal. Just 34 seconds in, David Pastrnak was on the receiving end of a pass from Brad Marchand on a two-on-one, finishing into an open net to make it 1-0 Boston.

It’s certainly not an ideal way to win a game, but the Flyers will take the two points and look to build on it.
