Sam Morin scored his first NHL goal with 4:27 to play in the game. That goal held-up as the game-winner in a much-needed 2-1 victory for the Flyers over the Rangers on Saturday.
Right out of the gate, the Bruins struck for a goal. Just 34 seconds in, David Pastrnak was on the receiving end of a pass from Brad Marchand on a two-on-one, finishing into an open net to make it 1-0 Boston.
Less than a minute after tying the game to erase a 3-0 deficit, the Flyers surrendered the game-winning goal to Ryan Pulock with 38.9 seconds left in a 5-3 defeat to the New York Islanders.
