A pedestrian was killed and a driver was seriously injured in separate accidents in South Jersey early Thanksgiving morning.

The SUV was struck around 7:50 p.m. at the Bartram Avenue crossing in the Atco section of Waterford.

It is not clear why they left home or where they could be headed.
