Officials in Cumberland County continue to investigate a double fatal shooting late Saturday night outside a home on the 100 block of Oxford St. in Bridgeton.

According to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office, two victims, a 16-year-old female from Fayette St. and a 17-year-old male from Chestnut St., were fatally shot in what authorities believe was a targeted assault.

A third victim, a 17-year-old man from Marion St., was also shot. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden where he remains in stable condition.

As of Monday morning, the identities of the victims has not been released.

Bridgeton Police Chief Michael Gaimari, Sr., said officers were called to the vicinity of Oxford St. and Belmont Ave. at approximately 11:40 PM on a report of shots being fired. He said the victims were located near a home on Oxford and two of the juveniles were pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the three victims were on the front porch of the Oxford St. residence when an unknown subject approached and fired several shots before fleeing the area.

The investigation is continuing and no arrests have been made.
