Teen Arrested, Gun and 510 Bags of Heroin Seized by Atlantic City Cops

An 18-year-old Atlantic City man is facing a list of charges following a month-long investigation in the city.

The Atlantic City Police Department says on Tuesday evening, detectives executed a search warrant in the 1800 block of Arctic Avenue. The target of the investigation, 18-year-old Rashawn Sanderlin of Atlantic City, was arrested after detectives recovered a loaded handgun and 510 individual bags of heroin inside a residence.

Sanderlin is facing possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute CDS, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense and was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
