
Teen facing gun charges in Atlantic City, NJ
Authorities in the World's Play Ground say a teenager has been arrested on gun charges.
The Atlantic City Police Department says just before 10:00 on the night of Saturday, April 19th, their officers responded to the 1100 block of Baltic Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert.
There, evidence of gunfire was located, but no injuries were reported.
Officers Christopher Campbell and Brandon Solano were patrolling the area looking for a possible suspect when they located a 17-year-old man. As they got out of their vehicle, the juvenile fled, but he was quickly apprehended.
Police say he was found in possession of a loaded handgun.

The unnamed teen, from Atlantic City, is facing the following charges:
- Unlawful possession of a weapon
- Possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose
- Obstruction of justice
He was remanded to Harborfields Detention Facility in Egg Harbor City.
