2 Teens Charged For Vandalizing Playground in Sea Isle City, NJ
Authorities in Sea Isle City say two teenagers are facing charges after they broke fences and destroyed property at a playground over Memorial Day Weekend.

According to the Sea Isle City Police Department, at around 12:15 AM on Memorial Day, they received a call about a group of juveniles at Dealy Field’s Play by the Bay Playground at 6108 Central Avenue.
Police say two teens broke fences and destroyed property there and they have both been charged with third-degree criminal mischief.
The pair was processed and released on summons in accordance with New Jersey juvenile justice reform directives.
Sea Isle City Police Chief Anthony Garreffi said in a statement,
Sea Isle City’s Police will continue a zero-tolerance strategy when it comes to destructive, unruly, disorderly criminal behavior. To assist with this strategy, dozens of high-resolution surveillance cameras have been installed throughout the City of Sea Isle City. In addition to increased surveillance efforts, we are also asking the public for their assistance in reporting such behavior immediately to the police in order to increase the likelihood of apprehension.
During the prosecution process, the city says they will be asking for the most severe penalties on top of financial restitution.
