‘The Great Job Resignation’ – How Did New Jersey Fare?
New Jersey often gets a bad rap around the country, when comparisons are made versus other states.
Some of this reputation is hard earned. Some of it is not and falls under perception versus reality.
This latest New Jersey result may or may not surprise you.
I’ll confess, it surprised me a little bit, because our beloved Garden State so often times fares poorly when directly compared to the other states around the country.
Not this time. New Jersey has been a top performer. WalletHub.com surveyed America on the topic of the number of people who have resigned from their job.
They’ve compiled a list by state of the highest Job resignation rates.
New Jersey finished the 9th best in America in terms of the number of people who have quit their job … in the most current month and for the past year.
It’s been an absolutely horrible phenomena. A record number of Americans have been quitting their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s become so bad that it’s been referred to as “The Great Resignation.”
