Tony’s Baltimore Grill Atlantic City – A Story 43 Years In The Making
When my wife Margie and I started dating 43 years ago, Tony’s Baltimore Grill in Atlantic City, New Jersey was our favorite dining spot.
We went there often and many times our food server was Karen.
Incredibly, Karen still works at Tony’s 43 years later … whereby she has the most seniority at Tony’s Baltimore Grill.
Karen is so pleasant and she is a wonderful, attentive server.
We had a great 43-year reunion (see below).
We made plans weeks ago to attend a show at Resorts Casino Hotel, featuring The Amazing Kreskin.
We also saw Mark Giannantonio, President of Resorts Casino Hotel.
Mark is the best and it was great to see business was booming at Atlantic City’s first casino, which is celebrating its 45th Anniversary this holiday weekend.
Here’s a beautiful John Gowdy sand sculpture, celebrating Resorts Casino Hotel’s 45th Anniversary.
The high energy on property was outstanding to experience.
As usual, Kreskin was wonderful. We had not seen each other since April 27, 2013 at The Levoy Theater in Millville, New Jersey.
We do speak several times each year, but, it was so nice to see Kreskin and spend some quality time together after the show.
It was a 5:00 p.m. show, which afforded us the opportunity to enjoy a nice early dinner beforehand.
Not always - but often - Margie and I have a go to meal that we like at Tony’s. It’s spaghetti and meatballs for Margie and Cheese Ravioli, meatballs and tomato sauce for me.
In honor of our 43rd reunion with Karen, we surprised her with a more than 150 percent gratuity.
We also really like this great sand sculpture at Tony’s Baltimore Grill, created by the world class sand sculptor, John Gowdy.
And, of course, the iconic juke boxes in your dining booth are epic and look exactly like they did 43 years ago … when Margie and I first dined together at Tony’s Baltimore Grill.
It doesn’t seem possible that 43 years have passed by this quickly.
It serves notice that life is so short … find the time to make the most of it.
