An early morning accident in South Jersey on the New Jersey Turnpike involving two tractor trailers, a car and an empty tour bus closed the roadway but only caused minor injuries.

Traffic continues to be diverted onto Interstate 295 as clean up continues of the accident which occurred between exits #1 (Route 40) and #2 (Route 322) in Woolwich Township.

New Jersey State Police report only minor injuries resulted from the crash.

Meteorologist Dan Zarrow says there was thick fog in the area at the time of the accident around 4 a.m.

rear ended the bus, a witness tells NBC 10. The second tractor trailer and the car could not see the two drivers outside their respective vehicles leading to a second accident.

One of the trucks was carrying a load of paint and auto parts according to 6 ABC
