The Gloucester County Health Department announced Tuesday that two of it's residents tested positive for coronavirus.

These are the first two confirmed cases in Gloucester County.

The infected are reportedly a man and woman in their 50's, both from Glassboro.

The man is currently under care at Inspira Medical Center-Mullica Hill. Officials say his condition is improving. The woman is self-quarantining at home and not showing COVID-19 symptoms at the moment, according to The Courier Post.

The county's Department of Health and Human Services is investigating how the two may have contracted the virus and who they've been in recent contact with.

The Courier Post reports these two new cases of coronavirus brings South Jersey's positive cases to 10 as of Tuesday afternoon.
