Two Killed in Salem County Crash Early Sunday Morning

Authorities have released the names of two people killed in a crash early Sunday morning in Salem County.

According to NJ.com, citing the New Jersey State Police, 61-year-old Ronald Lane of Millville was driving east on Route 56 in Pittsgrove Township around 12:30 Sunday morning when he collided with a pick-up truck that was headed south on Gershal Avenue.

Lane and 71-year-old Vivian Church of Millville, who was in the car with him, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital and later released.

The accident remains under investigation.
