Brave members of U.S. Army National Guard's 253rd Transportation Company will be leaving for Florida shortly to help with those impacted by Hurricane Irma.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, 120 soldiers along with over 40 military trucks will start trek towards Florida on this Friday.

The Press reports that the Cape May National Guard will work closely with Florida Officials with the recovery of one of the most powerful storms in history and  ever hit the Atlantic. Members of the 253rd Transportation Company will be stationed at Camp Blanding located in Starke, Florida.

Hurricane Irma is expected to make landfall early Sunday morning in South Florida.
