UPDATE: Atlantic County COVID-19 Vaccination Megasite Team

This week we mark the one-month milestone since the opening of the Atlantic County COVID-19 Vaccination Megasite.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew, Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson, The Atlantic County Board of Heath, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center and all working partners have done a phenomenal job.

They are saving lives on a daily basis. They’re all heroes and they’re doing God’s work

We as a community are so grateful for the efforts of all the frontline staff and those unsung heroes who have worked so hard behind the scenes.

This successful collaboration that we see now, was months in the making.

It’s a true example of how ... when we all come together, great things are possible.

The partnership with the State of New Jersey, Atlantic County, AtlantiCare and the New Jersey National Guard has been flawless.

Lifesaving vaccines are being administered to the community.

As of today, Friday, February 26, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., 40,242 vaccinations have been provided.

A 100 year-old has been vaccinated and represents the most senior member of the community.

It is a credit to this team of professionals that most people have spent 30 minutes or less from the time they enter the facility, until the time that they have received their vaccine.

Today these parks are located throughout the country in 25 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The land encompassing them was either purchased or donated, though much of it had been inhabited by native people for thousands of years before the founding of the United States. These areas are protected and revered as educational resources about the natural world, and as spaces for exploration.
