The Atlantic City Police Department says they distributed a flyer to their officers that featured a man from Vineland who was wanted in connection to a shooting in the city last weekend. Thirty minutes later, he was arrested.
According to a press release, just before 3:00 Thursday afternoon, two ACPD officers were in the 1600 block of Atlantic Avenue when they saw a man, identified only as being 17-years-old from Vineland, who was wanted. He was arrested and found to be in possession of 17 grams of marijuana, according to cops. Police say a flyer for his arrest had been distributed to officers only a half-hour prior.
Police say the man was wanted in connection to an incident on Sunday, September 20th, where a 41-year-old man was grazed by a bullet in the area of Indiana and Atlantic Avenues.
