Vineland, NJ, Lottery Player at Wawa Buys $2 Ticket, Gets 1,180,550% Return
Wouldn't it be great if you could get a one million percent increase on an investment?
Think about that the next time you earn a few pennies on your savings account or look at your 401k statement (have you checked your 401k lately!?).
However, for one lottery player in Cumberland County, that's exactly what happened on Friday.
According to officials with the New Jersey Lottery, one lucky player in Vineland purchased a Fast Play ticket for the $2 Jersey Jackpot and won $23,613.
If you do the math, that's a 1,180,550% return.
That lucky ticket was sold at Wawa on South Delsea Drive at Sherman Avenue in Vineland.
Fast Play Progressive tickets are sold at any retailer and offer a fast way for players to see if their ticket is a lucky winner.
