
Charges Now Filed in 2024 Vineland, NJ, Crash That Killed a Woman
A Cumberland County man has now been charged with vehicular homicide in connection with an accident more than a year ago.
During the pre-dawn hours of September 28th, 2024, officers with the Vineland Police Department responded to the area of East Sherman Avenue and Hance Bridge Road for a report of a single-vehicle crash.
Passenger From Wildwood Killed
A preliminary investigation revealed that Armando Garcia was driving a Nissan Pathfinder eastbound on East Sherman Avenue when he veered into the wooded area just east of Hance Bridge Road, striking a tree. As a result of the collision, the front seat passenger, 37-year-old Keila Osoria-Garcia of Wildwood, was pronounced dead at the scene. Armando Garcia was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden with serious injuries.
This past Friday, Armando Garcia was charged with vehicular homicide, causing the death of another while being unlicensed, and violation of law intended to protect public health and safety.
Garcia is being held in the Cumberland County Jail pending an initial court appearance.

The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
