The Visitor Welcome Center located on the Atlantic City Expressway has been providing visitors with assistance, help, and information for the past twenty years.

According to The Press of Atlantic City, the Visitor Welcome Center, which first opened in 1999 and cost over $3.5 million to complete construction, will permanently close by May 1st.

According to the report, the CRDA, which runs the visitor center, wanted to personalize the welcome process.

You can still get assistance and information at the Boardwalk Information Center which is located at Mississippi Avenue and at the Atlantic City Convention Center.
