4-Time Grammy Winner Appearing In Somers Point, NJ Concert

Carmen and Nancy Marotta have done an amazing job with the Somers Point, New Jersey summer concert series for decades.

The caliber of the talent has been phenomenal and it has led this local concert series to earn national acclaim, becoming the # 1 outdoor summer concert series in America … as selected from USA Today 10Best Readers Choice Awards for 2023.

Tonight, Friday, August 25, 2023, 4-time Grammy Award winner … a Nashville Rock Star Producer named Tom Hambridge will bring his Nashville sound to the Somers Point, New Jersey beach.

Hambridge has worked around the world with Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Buddy Guy and dozens more of the greatest rock stars in history.

Hambridge has performed at the White House for President Bill Clinton and produced and recorded with Lynyrd Skynyrd, BB King, ZZ Top, Foghat, The Rolling Stones, Susan Tedeschi to name more if the greats that he has collaborated together with.

Hambridge won two of his Grammy’s with Mississippi roots blues rock phenom, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram.

Hambridge is a highly respected Nashville producer, songwriter, performer, & musician, who has created many famous million selling hits.

Tonight’s Somers Point performance was made possible because of the personal relationship established with Carmen and Nancy Marotta and Hambridge.

The Hambridge band is called The Rattlesnakes.

The concert will begin tonight at 7:00 p.m., opening with one of the premier Bruce Springsteen tribute bands in New Jersey, THE E STREET SHUFFLE BAND.

It's quite a honor that the national award comes on the 30th anniversary of the Somers Point summer concert series.

The Concert Series is now produced by the all volunteer Somers Point Beach Concert Committee, led by Nancy and Carmen Marotta, who carry the torch of The Legendary Tony Mart Legacy.

During the past 20 years, the Somers Point summer concert series has present:

• Grammy award winning artists.
• million selling recording artists.
• multiple New Orleans Big Easy Award and
• Memphis Blues Hall of Fame award winners.
• members of the Rock 'n' Roll and International
  Blues Hall of Fame.

Marotta credits so many Somers Point working partners, including:

Mayor, the City Council, the Chief of Police, the Public Works Department and thousands of Volunteers, Sponsors and Contributors.
