Atlantic City was hit hard when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, leaving thousands of casino workers without jobs.

While Gov. Murphy has yet to announce any plans to reopen casinos, hotels have been allowed to stay open throughout the length of the state-mandated shutdown.

Now, it looks as if several of Atlantic City's casinos plan on taking room reservations starting as early as next week.

NJ.com reports Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will open up for hotel reservations on Thursday, May 28th. Three other casinos, Caesars, Resorts, and Tropicana, all plan taking reservations starting the first week of June.

Not all Atlantic City casinos are following suit, though. Others won't be offering reservations until much later this summer.
