19-Year-Old Man Wounded in 2nd EHT Shooting Saturday Night

A second shooting in Egg Harbor Township Saturday evening resulted in a 19-year-old man being wounded.

The first shooting - in another section of the township resulted in the death of a 54-year-old man. That story can be found here.

The second shooting - and there's been no indication from authorities that the two shootings are in any way related - happened at about 8:30 Saturday evening.

Police were called out to the area of the intersection of Spray and Dorset Avenues. They found a 19-year-old man shot. He was transported to the hospital and is reported in stable condition. Police have not released his identity.

Police are asking for help from local residents: "Residents in the area who may have video surveillance that captured activity concerning this incident are asked to contact our agency by calling the Egg Harbor Township Criminal Investigation Bureau at 609-926-4051 or via email at cid@ehtpd.com."

The investigation is continuing and no further information has been released.
