An officer on patrol witnessed a drug deal in a local motel parking lot, resulting in the arrest of three local persons.

According to Egg Harbor Township Police, Officer Michael Keeping was doing a property check Thursday evening at about 10pm when he witnessed a drug transaction. A search turned up 50 bags of heroin.

Arrested by EHT Police:

  • Kathryn McDougall,28, of Northifeld
  • Jamal Campos,24, of Egg Harbor Township
  • Jermaine Campos, 22, of Egg Harbor Township

McDougall and Jamal Campos were charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of heroin with intent to distribute in a school zone. Bail was set by Municipal Court Judge H.R. Switzer at $50,000 full on McDougall and $100,000 full on Jamal Campos. Both were lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Jermaine Campos was arrested on warrants, processed and was released after posting bail.
