Four persons under the age of 18 have been arrested in Lower Township after they reportedly broke into 9 homes and at least 50 cars.

According to Lower Township Police, the burglaries occurred in the Villas section of the township, as the four targeted homes owned by seasonal residences and unlocked vehicles.

An arrest occurred after a resident reported hearing suspicious noises.

Because of their ages, identities of those charges have not been released.

Police remind  residents of "the importance of locking your vehicles, securing your homes and to call in any suspicious activity that you should see or hear."
