Stockton University continues to make news and it's not just their new $178.3 million dollar Atlantic City campus.

The Press of Atlantic City reports the university was awarded a $100,000 state grant to determine the status of a possible new marine and environmental science center which would be built at Bader Field, which was closed in 2006, according to NJ.com.

Bader Field is spread out over 140 acres and the new proposed Science Center from Stockton could hold up to 500 students for educational and research purposes would be built on a stretch of 15 acres.
