April Fools’ Day Press Conference with Atlantic City, NJ, Mayor

This is no April Fools’ Day joke.

Embattled Atlantic City, New Jersey Mayor Marty Small will be holding a press conference on Monday, April 1, 2024, 9:30 a.m. at Atlantic City Council Chambers.

Smalk’s wife is La’Quetta Small, who is the Superintendent of the Atlantic City Public Schools system.

The first person to confirm the existence of this upcoming press conference is Fox News Philadelphia  television intrepid investigative reporter Jeff Cole.

Jacobs confirmed directly to Cole the news about this Monday’s press conference.

Jacobs is widely recognized as the greatest criminal defense attorney in Atlantic City (area), New Jersey history.

Jacobs has been a miracle worker for Marty Small in the past … successfully winning two separate trials versus the state of New Jersey … achieving acquittals on each occasion.

A search warrant was executed at The Small’s family residence in Atlantic City on the morning of Thursday, March 28, 2024.

The purpose of the search has not been publicly revealed.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office also revealed (yesterday) a series of significant criminal charges that have been filed against Atlantic City High School Principal Constance Days-Chapman as follows:

• second-degree Official Misconduct.
• third-degree Hindering Apprehension of Another.
• fourth-degree Obstruction of Justice.
• disorderly persons Failure to Report Child Abuse.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office confirmed that the charges were placed on a summons.

Days-Chapman is a very close Small family ally and served as the manager of Small’s mayoral campaign in 2021.

The usually verbose Small, who is typically overflowing with bravado and braggadocio, has gone into hiding since yesterday’s law enforcement raid of his home.

Thus far, Jacobs is playing a nothing to see hear theme … contending that a search warrant is incredibly easy to get … and, no one should read anything into this.

Yet, they are. People are currently reading a lot into yesterday’s disturbing developments.

My many sources have confided that there is a whole “lot of there, there.”

Time will tell.

This much I do know … you only reach out for Ed Jacobs when you are in significant potential jeopardy.
