
Atlantic City Cops: Two Arrested After Robbing Abercrombie & Fitch Store
Cops in Atlantic City say two people were arrested after they allegedly robbed the Abercrombie & Fitch store at The Walk Saturday morning.
The Atlantic City Police Department says at around 7:45 Saturday morning, an officer was patrolling Tanger Outlets The Walk when he observed 28-year-old Amanda Reynolds of Little Egg Harbor pacing back and forth near the closed Abercrombie & Fitch store. The officer then observed 46-year-old Duane Napper of Atlantic City leave the store carrying a large bag.
Police say the officer, "went to stop the pair when he observed that the front glass door of the store had been smashed. Napper and Reynolds were arrested without incident. The bag contained nearly $2,700 in stolen merchandise."
Napper was charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief, and conspiracy; he was released on a summons with a future court date.
Reynolds was charged with byrglary, theft, and conspiracy, and contempt of court; she was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
