Atlantic City Councilman Shabazz Supports Bader Field Developer
Following our series of on-air interviews earlier today, Friday, December 16, 2022, we have now confirmed that Atlantic City Councilman Kaleem Shabazz is sponsoring a definitive resolution regarding Bader Field.
Shabazz is presenting a resolution in support of DEEM Enterprises to receive a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to become the developer of Bader Field.
The Shabazz resolution is City of Atlantic City # 857 of 2022, titled:
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH DEEM ENTERPRISES, LLC
We have also confirmed that Shabazz intends to present the resolution at the Wednesday, December 21, 2022, 5:00 p.m. regular meeting of the Atlantic City Council.
We have obtained a copy of the Shabazz resolution and here it is in its entirety.
We conducted three consecutive interviews this morning with:
- Former New Jersey Senator James J. "Sonny" McCullough, consultant for DEEM Enterprises.
- Bart Blatstein, Chief Executive Officer, Tower Investments.

Bart Blatstein, Chief Executive Officer of Tower Investments has joined forces with The Post Brothers and dropped their own $ 3 billion proposal for Bader Field.
Blatstein has been calling for a transparent, nationwide Request for Proposal and “let the best project win,” said Blatstein.
We reached to Atlantic City Council President George Tibbitt for public comment.
”To be accurate, this will be an all city council resolution, (not a Shabazz resolution) upon formal introduction and receipt of approval from the state of New Jersey,” said Tibbitt.
