
Atlantic City, New Jersey Man Is Guilty Of Disturbing Strangulation
The Atlantic City, New Jersey Police Department does a great job in solving serious violent cases. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has done an outstanding job gaining guilty pleas from defendants.

The collaboration between these two law enforcement agencies has been working very well.
The Latest Example Is Tommie Feaster

The Disposition
On Monday, June 22, 2026, Tommie Feaster, 65 years old, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, pleaded guilty to:
- second-degree aggravated assault — strangulation of a domestic violence victim.
The plea was made before New Jersey Superior Court Judge Ralph Paolone.

A sentence of five years in New Jersey State prison. This case is subject to the No Early Release Act.

On October 27, 2025, Atlantic City Police Officers responded to the Drexel Avenue area of Atlantic City regarding a domestic incident. Officers responded to the residence and were met by the victim.
The victim informed officers that the night prior a verbal argument occurred between the victim and Feaster that resulted in Feaster wrapping both hands around the victim's neck to the point where she could no longer breathe. A minor individual was present and able to intervene to stop the assault. The victim and minor then escaped into a nearby room. Feaster then followed them to that room and threatened the victim's life, said the Atlantic City Prosecutor’s Office.
Sentencing
Is scheduled for August 12, 2026.
