Atlantic City, NJ Councilman Preparing To Receive Bogus Censure

Atlantic City, New Jersey Councilman at Large, George Tibbitt made a figurative comment during a live interview on the “Hurley in the Morning” radio program a few weeks ago.

Tibbitt said that Atlantic City employees should “spit on Marty Small” regarding the allegations of monstrous child abuse allegations filed against Small.

Tibbitt was defending a young boy, who Marty Small had previously filed legal charges against. The Small charges against the young boy were specious and were quickly dismissed in court.

Tibbitt also quickly corrected himself on-air and stated that he didn’t mean for people to literally spit on Small … that “I was very passionate about how this young Atlantic City boy was being treated by Marty Small,” said Tibbitt.

Small seized on Tibbitt’s on-air comments and encouraged his City Council allies to manufacture support at a City Council meeting to criticize Tibbitt.

Small close ally Floyd Tally verbally criticized Tibbitt during the open public session portion at the last City Council meeting.

Now, word is spreading that City Council is preparing to publicly and formally censure Tibbitt.

Tibbitt stated on-air on Friday, May 24, 2024 that “should City Council censure me … I will wear it as a badge of honor,” said Tibbitt.

”If it happens, I will accept it like it’s an award,” said Tibbitt.

It’s obvious that Marty Small is trying to deflect attention away from his current problems and change the subject to Tibbitt.

Small has 5 City Council members at his disposal, who are willing to vote for anything that he wants.

Marty and La’Quetta Small are facing serious criminal child abuse charges that were directly filed by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office on April 15, 2024 as follows:

MARTY SMALL is criminally charged with:

2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child.
3rd degree aggravated assault
3rd degree terroristic threats
disorderly persons simple assault.

LA'QUETTA SMALL is criminally charged with:

2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child.
3 separate counts of disorderly persons simple assault.

A City Council censure of Tibbitt would hold no weight whatsoever … however, it would be in keeping with the past practices of Marty Small … who is well known for retaliating against his perceived political enemies … such as Tibbitt, John Devlin, Steve Young, Dredgie Wood and others.
