Atlantic County, NJ, Employee Deal: Only if Eagles Win Super Bowl
All Atlantic County, New Jersey government employees have been offered a great deal from County Executive Dennis Levinson.
However, there is a “catch,” … the deal is only valid if The Philadelphia Eagles win Super Bowl LIV versus The Kansas City Chiefs, this Sunday, February 9, 2025.
Here’s how it will work. If The Philadelphia Eagles win The Super Bowl, all Atlantic County government employees will be able to report to work 2 hours late for work on Monday, February 10, 2025.
Should The Eagles lose The Super Bowl, all Atlantic County government employees will be required to report to work on time … as there will be no delayed opening in the event of an Eagles loss.
Linda Gilmore, the Chief of Staff for Atlantic County Executive Levinson had the pleasure to break the news to the employees in an email that read:
County Employees:
Like many of you, the County Executive is looking forward to Sunday's Super
Bowl between the Eagles and the Chiefs.
Denny has decided that if (and hopefully when) the Eagles win, there will be a 2-hour delayed opening of county offices on Monday, February 10. But should they lose, Eagles fans will not be staying up late to celebrate. Therefore, in the event of an Eagles loss, county offices will open on time as normally scheduled. Let's GO BIRDS!! Enjoy your weekend and Super Bowl 59! If Eagles win: 2-hour delayed opening on Monday, February 10 If Eagles lose: county offices open as normal on Monday, February 10 Now we have even more reason to cheer on the Eagles!, wrote Gilmore.
