The Barnegat Township Police Department took to Facebook to ask for the public's help in identifying a man seen on surveillance camera footage.

The footage was taken from the township's Acme Supermarket.

The picture was captured by the store's security camera on September 14 at approximately 3:30 pm.

Barnegat Township police ask anyone who may know who this is, to please contact Patrolman Bloodgood at Bloodgood450@barnegatpolice.us.

It is not known at this time why police are seeking this man, and the public is reminded not to approach him.
