Egg Harbor Township Police arrested a man from Brigantine Friday night in West Atlantic City after allegedly finding dozens of bags of heroin and oxycodone pills in his possession.

Around 9:30 last Friday night, Egg Harbor Township Police observed multiple motor vehicle violations on a vehicle and its occupants in West Atlantic City. The vehicle was stopped on Venice Avenue near Bay Drive. An investigation at the scene led to arrest of 32-year-old Michael Eger of Brigantine after police found 51 bags of heroin and oxycodone pills.

Eger was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of oxycodone, possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute, and motor vehicle violations. Bail was set at $75,000.
